Kofo Kego is a social entrepreneur, strategist and coach who is passionate about improving lives, whether that’s through personal mentoring or public service. As such, he has dedicated his life’s work to enabling individuals and organisations identify resources, maximise opportunities, make positive impact and leave lasting legacies.

​

He is founder and CEO of VES; a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting and facilitating civil engagement, especially within ethic minority and faith based communities in the UK.  Since its inception in 2014, VES has enlightened over 600 individuals through seminars and workshops around the UK and many more through its digital outreach efforts.

​

An advocate for youth empowerment, Kofo Kego was awarded for his work as an associate within the HEA's (Higher Education Academy) £21million nationwide initiative to widen participation and access to Higher Education. Over the past 7 years, he has continued to enable facilitate millennials’ progress with life, relationships, education and careers in his capacity as a coach and mentor.

Kofo's passion for maximising potential, led to the establishment of REBOOT (previously called the 'Before You Go’ University Seminar). REBOOT is a careers and networking platform that empowers and equips young people with accessible professional development content.

​

REBOOT collaborates with employers to widen access to job opportunities and enlists industry experts at its events. This makes REBOOT unique in providing insight, resources and networks needed to succeed in university and corporate life. Beyond the workshops, REBOOT participants also have access to a wider network of professionals in various industries.

​

Kofo Kego has spoken alongside various industry experts and world leaders including Former President Olusegun Obasanjo and Nims Obunge MBE, Deputy Lieutenant for Greater London.  Earlier this year he finished a tour of 7 cities; reaching 40 schools and addressing 7000 students. He has been featured in publications such as The Manchester Advertiser, North Manchester FM, Re-Africa Magzine, Vinejuice and has also granted radio and online interviews.
